•Shingle Roof: Generally lasts around 15–30 years depending on the material, with asphalt shingles on the lower end and wood or slate shingles lasting longer. They’re more susceptible to damage from severe weather (wind, hail, etc.).

•Metal Roof: Extremely durable and can last 40–70 years, depending on the material. Metal is more resistant to extreme weather, including high winds, heavy snow, and fire.


Cost

Maintenance
